Our humble beginnings commenced in 1979 with the establishment of the La Mine d’Or. Today we are recognized as the ultimate shopping destination for watches, jewellery and accessories. We are, proudly, the Rolex ambassadors in New Brunswick since 1984.

Our Beginnings

In 1979, Paul Cormier began La Mine d’Or with a suitcase full of jewellery to bring fine jewellery, timepieces and luxury items directly to the homes of the citizens of Moncton, New Brunswick. From their doorsteps, he cultivated a culture of trust and sincerity that he soon became known for. His ambitions were well received and the demand from his loyal clientele led him to opening his first storefront. A quaint space on Mountain Road, became the first home of La Mine d’Or where we soon welcomed a partnership with Rolex in 1984.

Devoted to providing the finest experience to each of our guests, La Mine d’Or founded its flagship store in Downtown Moncton in the year 2000. A historical building with the opportunity to showcase a larger array of meticulously selected diamonds, gems, fine jewellery and luxury timepieces. With a partnership of over 40 years, La Mine d’Or, together with Rolex, envisioned a space to discover our extensive selection of their admirable, luxurious timepieces. Since 2017, each of our clients have been welcomed to celebrate their Rolex experience in an inviting and dedicated area in our showroom.
